Whitman Archive user Barbara Thumudo notified us that she had conducted additional research into Helen Maria Moore, who is mentioned in an 1886 letter from Percy Ives to Whitman. We have updated our footnote for Moore to include her birth and death dates, as well as a line noting that it is unknown if she ever met Whitman.
