Corrections to Memoranda During the War

Ken pointed out that quotations in this text were set off with curly quote marks and that opening marks had been erroneously used at the ends of quotations. I have changed all curly quote marks to straight quote marks to accord with our general policy. Also, in the course of examining quotations I happened to notice that a word was missing from the transcription, and I have supplied it.

Memoranda During the War added to "Other Books"

Whitman's Memoranda During the War (1876) is now available on the Archive. Memoranda joins Complete Prose Works as the second volume in the new "Other Books" section.

Complete Prose Works added; Archive homepage and Published Works index pages revised

Whitman's Complete Prose Works (1892) is now available on the Whitman Archive. I have added a new category, "Other Books," to the Published Works section of the Archive homepage. In addition, I have revised the Published Works index page to include this new category.

Joshua Ware prepared the text for presentation on the Whitman Archive.
