New fiction section published

I have published a new fiction section on the Archive, which includes Whitman's short temperance novel, Franklin Evans, with a new critical introduction. Also available is a revised version of the novel, "Fortunes of a Country Boy," which was serialized in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle in 1846, and a bibliography of publications and reprints of Whitman's fiction, compiled by Stephanie Blalock.

Corrected post-Reconstruction letter

A letter from Benjamin Ticknor to Walt Whitman of 16 May 1882 listed Ticknor's middle initial as "N" in the signature.  I have corrected the middle initial to "H."
