Five of Whitman's early notebooks added to the Whitman Archive

Earlier today Nikki Gray published five of Whitman's early notebooks as part of our work on the NEH-funded project "Walt Whitman as an Author before Leaves of Grass."

Leaves of Grass volumes updated

I have converted the Leaves of Grass editions from TEI P4 to TEI P5 and brought their web display in line with current practices on the Whitman Archive, in addition to resolving a number of styling issues. Notable additions include the option to view/download the XML/TEI of each edition, more robust source information, and information on how to cite the page.

Tweaks to handling of date for New York Weekly Graphic

 I have adjusted both the index page for the journalism and "Publication Information" for "'Tis But Ten Years Since (Sixth Paper.)," New York Weekly Graphic 07 March 1874: 46 by changing the 07 March to 7 March 1874.
